  • dash top pods

    Hi all! :newbie:

I recently purchased a pair of dash top pods from Germany but i'm having trouble trying to remove the dash top in order to fit them in.
Firstly i disabled the airbags then removed the radio and fascia and the eight torx screws along the underside of the dash,
this allows me to get my fingers under the lip of the dash but i can only raise it a couple of inches, something seems to be holding it fast!
does anyone have any ideas/experience on removing this b****er?????????
I have tried all the main dealers but no joy.

    Thanx.

OK so you bought something from someone in Germany, then asked UK suppliers (businesses who need to sell things to make money and exist) who could have sold you the same thing (but you chose to buy else where remember) and now they won't give out free help to fit something they didn't sell?????

      How strange!

Maybe ask the people you bought them from.....

To be quite honest you dont have to remove the dash. The Pods "clip" into the top pretty well and stay put without the screws from underneath. Fitted mine a couple of months back like this and no problems/rattles yet.
