does the car not have the standard 3 month RAC warranty from the garage you bought it from?? or if its merc - you should have 1yr!
i would take it back there anyway as electric windows not working is a pretty unacceptable
car is mitsubishi and us owners aren't fussed at all as reliability is awesome!!
on www.forfour.co.uk we have a guide to stop the belt squeeking, your brakes may need doing (the garage should have sorted before selling though) but you may just have grit between pad and disc
