This thread is a very good example of why I cant be bothered to post on here , it's nothing to do with whether the forfour is a smart or not ( but I do believe it must be if it says it is on the registration document ) or even If forfour owners even care what other smart model owners think ( everyone buys the car THEY want / like / need ) it's all to do with the same problems that finished off the original site ...... attitude !

On an interesting note - to me at least

I saw the other day that Mitsubishi are used by at least one other car manufacturer.
The new Cirtoen C - Zero is a rebadged electric powered Mitsubishi. Its years since the Zero was made by Mitsubishi (and a very good product it was too!)

I reckon it makes economic sense to share platforms and loads of companies do it - is a Skoda a VW for instance?

I post up a poll, then try to close off the poll with results and get threatened with a smack in the face and a kick in th balls - awesome you lot I'm not even doing anything and I'm getting jumped on - it's actually hilarious - haha!!

And all this troll **** is like a broken record! If I was a troll (which I'm not because it's something made up by Internet mugs for when they don't like a truth waved in their faces) why would I help so many members with their technical problems??

Seriously though?? What am I running my mouth off about with my big gob?? I'm sat here with a smile on my face reading the last few posts wondering how people can take some published % figures and within 1 post slate a proportion of owners and within 3 posts offer a fight and within a few more posts start threatening and making themselves a laughing stock!

Some people need to take their tablets really

Tell me about it Mitch - I'm making lighthearted comment about a car I love and aspire to own in response to being told I own a "mitsushitty" then get threatened with physical violence!

....the "mother" thing is a standard phscology reference to Sigman Freud and his approaches to psychology but I guess I misjudged the levels of knowledge - apologies!

And my "trolling" survey was for interest to see how many smart owners really didn't think the forfour was a smart and now we know...but it did take 15pages of abuse - haha

Think that's already been posted - it's the proposed US stop gap until the new forfour arrives in about 2015 (someone will correct the year for me)

I remember the Miami Gulf Fortwo on my first L2B run in 2003. No roadsters were modded back then.

i posted something similar on another thread here is that i said

yes they may be the same car underneath but it does not make the forfour a colt! the nissan micra shares the same kit as the the renault clio. so on that basis the micra isnt 'a real micra' because it had the same bits as the clio!
is the VW Polo an expensive Skoda Fabia or is the Polo a cheap Audi A1?

and so far i havent got a reply to it yet!

Why would I lose it? I hate to see people falling out is all
I am friendly with at least 4 Forfour owners and happen to see it as a pretty nice ittle car
