did the original concept say the smart must only ever have 2 seats or was it just small and easy to park??

The forfour was sold by smart and badged as a smart so as far as I'm concerned it's a smart.

It's very unusual these days that a manufacturer would develop a vehicle totally independently.

Do you mean the iQ & Cygnet? Aygo is completely different car to the cygnet.
