Just bought a Smart ForFour

Hi I am in Australia and I am wondering were is the best places to gets parts from both overseas and in Australia for my 2005 ForFour Pulse.
I need a few small things 1. rear wiper arm 2. Powerwindow switch for right front window.

Also the passenger door does not open from the outside: any hints?

For any parts contact you local smart dealer, they are surprisingly competitive.

Glad you got a good Smart!

The cable has probably stretched in the door (common fault) and easily replaced. Parts are easy to get from Ebay, but better are some of the british smart indie specialists. Ebay.de is best for all smart parts. Germany has more in the way of bits n bobs. What engine and gearbox do you have? Any photos?

My Smart 454 is the 1.3L with tiptronic gearbox, built in Jan 05.
Black and White in colour and will post some photo's when scratches on rear repaired.

Will try your recommendations

Thanks for the welcome. Have just found I need a new rear oxygen sensor. I hope they do not have to be replaced very often. No after market replacement part in Australia. Got a genuine unit coming in from Singapore or Germany

Thanks will have a look later this week. My cable snapped at the attachment point to the handle. I am trying to figure how to attach the cable to the lock mechanism without taking the dooe apart.

only other access is through the v small cover on the end of the door........

you can then gain access to remove the door handle
