interior light !!!!!

Just took the none working bulb out of my sons smart for four front one, told him to go and get a new bulb when he tried to lock the car the locking system / key fob would not work , i put the none working bulb back in but it still didnt work.!!!!!
I dont think the 2 could be connected but it seems a massive coincidence for this to happen ? The wife blames me !!!
any ideas on what could have happened ?or how to rectyfy

blown fuse??? fuse 30 is the central locking (15A mini blade fuse) even if it doesn't look gone, replace anyway!

i changed my sidelight bulb with LED and to make sure had LED poles round right way, connected with lights on (yeah i know!!) but didn't just blow that fuse, blew the fuse for the airbags!! random!!

don't think the receiver is up there so you can't really dislodge anything.........

does the key start the car??

if you turn the car on and press the "lock" button on the dash, does that work??
