Repairs without breaking the bank

Hello, I am just looking for some advice please- I need a number of repairs doing on my Smart Fourfor (new lock on one of the doors, possible gearbox replacement, electric window fixed) but I know from past experience this is going to cost me a fortune if I take it to my Smart dealer as they charge about ££90 an hour labour costs. I have had trouble taking my Smart Car to my local ggarage as they seem to struggle to get parts etc. Does anyone know of a garage or person in the south wales area that specialises in repairing smart cars without charging a small fortune. I have a baby due in three weeks and funds are limited (as most peoples are!) so would be greatful for any info you kind peope can give me.

There are a few forfours braking on eBay at the moment

What's up with the gearbox? Why do you think it needs fixing? The forfours are very robust and don't break often.

Wellsmart (now digitec) are probably your closest bet

Do you have a petrol or diesel? What's the gearbox sounding like or is it just a stiff gear change? Give us some details and we'll look into it for you.
