I would never attempt to beat linda's forFour diesel away from the lights - the torque is incredible,
coupled to a very modest kerbweight
In fact it will thrash just about anything from the lights which can be very useful - Nottinghamshire
in particular is littered with Traffic lights with 2 lanes which filter into one after 30-40 yards.
Would the Brabus match the diesel unit in terms of torque? I haven't seen any figures but would be
an incredible drive if it beat it....
Hell yeah - 230Nm of torques, delivered at a min of 90% across the rev range (from about 3500rpm)
Getting the power down is hard and that's why I have wider wheels on the front.
Next time we are both at a meet, I'll take you for a drive! It's a completely different experience to standard.
The roadie and fortwo world gets a wee additional bit of bhp and some nice labelled bits when transitioning from standard to BRAB but in the forfour it's just a complete change! Whole new engine and well over double the bhp!.....and a top speed just under 140mph which I can confirm that 130mph is possible quite easily with a nice quiet autobahn - but then I got scared
