  • Forfour Radio six fault.

An odd thing happened this evening. Drove the car to Tesco. Radio was on, no problem. Got back in to drive home and the radio wouldt work. The display is dead and no sound. Its possible to eject the cd and put it back in again. But no play.
Has anyone got any ideas why . And more importantly, whats the remedy ?

    Thanks folks
    John

hmmmmmmmmmm!! i have heard of the radio going like that but only once and i'm pretty sure it rectified itself quite quickly.

you could pop the radio out and check all the connections but given that it obviously had power, it would be an internal issue.

    was the radio hot?

did you have a normal CD or copied CD in?

did you try turning it off and on again

all failing.... i have a spare one in my garage you can have for £100
