It's one of those things that can really bug you - that squeak that you can't fix.
Out zafira has a terrible one on the dash where 2 panels meet and the my BRAB forfour has one where the multi-function controls mount to the steering wheel so today set about trying to get rid of them....
I have recently discovered this awesome product called "woodsilk"
It's a furniture polish BUT it has many many other uses like easing hard to open drawers, making curtain tracks flow nicely, easing sliding door tracks and so on - anything that you could need to lube ... This stuff works (plastic/metal/wood) and it lasts for ages - years in fact!!
So I decided to try it on my squeaks (obviously a squeak is 2 surfaces rubbing together)
Zafira first...
The offending panels
Apply woodsilk - letting it soak into the seam
Then wipe off the excess!
Same on the BRAB
Seems to be working - i will continue to monitor
