has anyway changed the cambelt on a forfour cdi or know how long a garage would quote or charge please

there is no cambelt, only a cam chain. it shouldn't need replacing (for quite a while)

the only forfour with a cam belt is the BRABUS

i guess me just getting confused and seeing a belt there,makes it simple then,i will change what i thought was one that now i guess is just a auxiliary belt for pump etc.

yup - aux belt

they all squeal in this weather on start up.

they can be tightened using an adjuster

its a diesel, only petrols have the belt adjuster. diesels have an automatic spring tensioner as someone on forfour.co.uk found out, no?
