Very cool - we had a member who was going to enter the Mongol rally in a forfour a few years back but he decided against I ......not for reliability reasons but for lack of parts in uk (let alone across places like Mongolia) plus he decided a slightly less modern set up would be better.

Oscar on TRn did it last year, his team used a Hyundai Accent 1.3 - They didn't have a single failure not even a puncture.

There was a smart 42 doing it as a warm up for a solo round the world trip but I think his journey ended short due to a collision I believe.
