Good Morning All,
I have now pressed my 2006 ForFour 1.5CDi Passion into daily driver status and the fuel gauge is very erratic. It was nearly empty but showing four bars, so put £20 in and it was then showing two bars. So I filled the tank and it went up to 5 bars. Today it has decided to show 7 bars.
I'm not sure if the fault lies with the gauge of the sender unit? Does anyone have any suggestions as it would be nice to have a more reliable fuel monitoring mechanism than filling up and resetting the trip meter every time.
