I doubt it , With only two seats to start with I'm sure people would remove and sell on rather than say yes the other seat is err baby ready
it would make the car harder to sell imo with it.
a bit like a bike carrier , you'd sell it seperately?

im not gunna waste money buying a seat, ive already got one
    sell it

sorry to be grumpy but for about the sixth or seventh time in this thread, there is no smart isofix seat for the pre sept-2007 smart fortwo or roadster models.
You will need to use a basicfix (ie pretty much a smart own model) rear facing seat. You may find one and the bracket secondhand but will need to get a smart dealer to sort out deactivation of the airbag - total cost of all of this probably a few hundred pounds. I understand that your child is a precious as mine but I would wait until he/she is old enough to fit in a forward-facing seat before buying a smart. Of course, it's your money, but we are trying to help.

You will buy a seat, you'll have to. Baby simply won't fit or be safe in a rear facing seat much after 9 months. Then you'll have to buy a forward facing seat, which will last until baby turns three or four, and then you'll need a bigger booster seat. It's the law, and there is no way around it, even if you wanted to.

Do you value the ability "to travel [..] NOW in a smart car" more than:

        a) the safety of your child (remember, airbags can *KILL* babies in rear facing seats)?

        b) the law governing children in cars?

Re: in a pickle re car seats/ isofix/ airbag disabling

The bracket will work but the seat will only be held in on one side with the isofix, as the basisfix has a different gap between the brackets to std isofix, so will need to be held in with the seatbelt too. The bracket is £50 ish fitting & activating we charge £47.50 (all inc vat) If the seat you have is OK fitted with just the seatbelt this is an option but if it's isofix only then it isn't! It will work but I don't know if it will work with the seat you have!

Any more questions give me a call tomorrow at work (WellSmart 01749 871178) and I'll try and explain it a bit better!
