OK so this may well have been discussed before but I couldn't find it using the search.
Smarts suffer from stuck piston rings if not looked after very carefully. So I was wondering if anyone had tried preventing the oil control rings getting gummed up? i.e. Wynns engine flush states that it helps to remove gunge and deposits. So say you took a spark plug out and poured in a bit of wynns and left it to soak for a couple of days then did added the additional Wynns (not over filling) warmed things up then did an oil change.
Does anyone think this might help dissolve/loosen the deposits that are forming in the piston ring grooves?
Any thoughts or am I just mad?
Cheers
