Does anyone know of an independent Smart 450 mechanic with an Mstar or equivalent - one that they can trust?
I understand that the clutch adjustment is done in 2 parts; a mechanical one using spanners, and an electronic one using the Mstar.
I took the car to an alleged Smart "expert", who promised to put the car onto his Mstar machine. He didn't (it was being serviced), but gave me a bill for £70.00 for an alleged "diagnostic" including telling me that 2 of the tyres had age-cracks.
The official Merc. dealer wants £126.00 to put the car on an Mstar, but that is only to advise what needs doing, and not to actually fix anything.
