Sliding Roof Motors 1 or 2

Hi. Just wondering re my 2002 convertible. It has one motor fitted but there is a connection and fitment for a second one. Would anyone know if it should be one or two ? I have been told that some only used one motor. Thanks in advance. mick

Mine has two motors, from what I understand, they came from the factory with two motors, and if the owner had roof problems while under warranty, a bodge fix was implemented by Smart with included the removal of one of the motors.

Hi Darranna Many thanks for that thought there should have been two as the gap looks as if there had been a motor there. Probably as you said a repair bodge job. Thanks again. mick
