  • Clock pod fuse ?

Hi all, I've been lurking for a while and finally decided to join up !
I'm Steve, originally from England, but now living in Greece. I've recently bought my wife a 2006 (450) fortwo "Sunray" . It's a sort of cross between a standard and a cabriolet in that it has a huge electric sunroof. It's Passion spec but with a load of extras,. Roof, cup holder, CD stacker, CD holder, under seat storage box, upgraded speakers etc etc.
It has one tiny niggling fault.
    The clock doesn't work.
I've taken the clock out and re-soldered the dry joints, that didn't work, so I bought a replacement clock, still nothing. Today, I've tested both clocks off the car and they work perfectly.
So the next obvious thing to check is the fuse. However, none of the fuse box diagrams I can find mention a clock fuse !
Does anyone know which fuse it might be ?
    Cheers.

Fuse # 11. Instrument cluster, safety island, diagnostic connector.
Fuse # 20 Radio, instrument cluster, tachometer, data link connector, backup lamp, (CD changer).

    Clock not mentioned.

Fuse #20 is the 4th from the left on the row of 10 fuses.
Fuse # 11 is the 1st from the left of the upper row of 6 fuses.
Both the above when viewed with the the row of 10 fuses above the (2) rows of 6 fuses.

Thanks for that, I should have said that everything else is working properly, I'm totally confused.

Simples! Get a meter on the power cables from the Pod back towards the battery to find the break in the wire(s)

There is safety triangle pin out on evilution. I suspect simply bad connection. Does safety triangle work?

Yes, everything else on the safety triangle works OK. I'm beginning to suspect a burned out track inside it. I'm thinking of taking a permanent live feed from the wires into the safety triangle and bypassing it. Do you know which pin on the input plug carries a permanent live ?
Or maybe, do you have a link to the pinouts on Evilution? I've searched but can't find one with the wire functions.

Thanks all. I spliced a feed direct from pin 1 on the 8 pin plug to the triangle and all is good. Incidentally, if anyone else has the same problem the BLACK wire on the clock is the 12v live .
