Main weakness in all 450 towbar designs is the flange they attach to at end of subframe.
On mine I beefed up those welds when I found cracks were growing in size. I check those welds and my special bolts periodically for cracks.
A major issue with misterdotcom’’s tow bar is you must cut an unsighty hole in rear panel and far to much work removing in preparation for the annual MOT. Mine comes off in less than a minute.Last edited by tolsen; 30-08-18, 01:54 PM.Comment
