Underbody tray

The rear underbody tray has parted company with the shell, it fell off shortly after the MOT. I am in the process of repairing it and driving with out it for the time being but it may be a few weeks before I can get to re-fit it. Is that likely to cause me problems?

NO.Other than the road dirt which is going to coat the underside of your car.It has no structural importance.

Under tray reduces drag and to some degree prevents spray wetting ABS unit, sensors, cables, pipes and structural steel under your Smart.

In time (years) there will be problems due to the water on the road to all the elements initially covered by that shield.
Short term is low probability.
