Smart fortwo 2001 opens and seals the doors strange problem

hello i am from portugal, and this morning like a normal morning
the car as soon as I turned off the engine it opens and seals the doors even back glass to, continuously without stopping, I can only get the "normal" car when it is in position 1, but as soon as I turn it off (0) completely it does again the same, and Sam makes some stinks... no one here knows what this have

Sounds like you have water getting into the SAM. It will need to be taken out and dried and checked to see if something have been burnt if you say it smells as well.

I think 2001 is a ZEE, I once had a similar problem, only mine was flashing the hazard lights continuously, that only on position 0, while in 1 and while driving there ware no problems
but as soon as you turn the key to position 0, the hazard lights started to flash again

I had a fix to always disconnect the battery and reconnect again, (try to disconnect the battery and then connect it again to see if the locks start dancing again)

in the end I ended up buying a new ZEE/ECU kit

To the day I don't know what was wrong, what caused the car to behave that way

I keep the old kit, just in case, I can still use it as long as I will fit an power breaker/insulator switch to always disconnect the battery for a second each time I stop the car
