The FK adapter are 57.1 bore, or looking at that it might be the original bore and they dont tell you the 66. thats a VW/Audi alloy ? http://tinyurl.com/5ukeawt

there you go, you can go even wider!Originally posted by benjy_b View PostI've got 7.5" on the front of my car! Granted, I'm running a 165 tyre
For the laugh, I even put my 8" wheels on the front, with stretched 175's, it only rubbed slighly on the outside arch when driving hard.
benjy...sounds like you should be drivng a dub!

obviously you'll be very close(but wont ever touch) the body if you use 195's
take it from personal experience, don't use 205's on the front...

Running a 195. Looks like I might have to go the adapter route, as the other are not what I really like. But finding a 17 with 7 inch wide and the right offset sounds hard.
Thank you.

Re: 17" whats the choice anything like these
Best fitting and looking alloys on the 451 in 17" are Brabus and Khan's
You need to be very careful with the width of the front wheel (and the tyre choice) otherwise there could be issues with esp and rubbing.
As you will see most companies offer 5.5" front wheel, this is suitable upto 205 section tyre. But would prefer 195.
Here is my 451 cdi
