how to lower driver's seat?

Hi all,

How do you lower the driver's seat? From what I can tell, it's quite possible if I can get the right kit together.

I removed the passenger seat to take a look. The four bolts are 42cm and 35cm apart, bolted straight on to the chassis. Only takes five minutes to remove. Thing is, rear sits 5cm higher because the floor isn't flat. It steps up just in front of the rear bolt holes.

With a new frame and bucket seat, that should work. Sturdy brackets at the rear and the whole seat should sit flat on the floor.

Anyone done this before?

Also: I won't, of course, compromise safety.

Picture of the mounting points below - I can't upload it directly. The rear mounting point is at the top; you can see where the floor steps up. This is the far left (ie. the left side of the passenger seat, right hand drive car).
