Mercedes remote key 3 buttons key vs Smart remote 3 buttons

Following an incident I remained on the outside SMART.
The situation was remedied with the help a member of the forum.
Of the two keys, just one is functional and want to buy a Mercedes key because of their shape.
Electronics is similar, the working frequency is 433MHz Smart remote control, so the emission side are compatible.
Has anyone tried something / someone knows if they are likely to succeed?

why not buy a 2nd hand merc key of ebay and transfer your electrics and key blade over?

Buy China key. Only around £20 with delivery.

Unfortunately I do not have a second PCB for transplant.

The 451 (unlike the 450 )uses a transponder in the key, as well as the rolling code system, this needs to be in any new case.

China key comes with remote circuit board, case and blank key.
