I want to shorten the 451 seat adjusters as I continually hit the back of my left ankle with the protruding big handle - so does anyone know how to remove the plastic handle on these adjusters ? This so as to cut off about 1.5 inches of metal from the adjuster's lever, and then refix the plastic handle back on to the shorter lever. It should be a simple job but I can't get the handle off @!
