Pistons to fit a 451 Diesel engine made after 2009.

Hello,

I rebuild the engine from my Smart Fortwo 451, 0.8 cc Diesel, 54 BHP, but the pistons found in the auto-parts stores do not fit my engine.
After doing some research I have found out that Smart fitted a type of pistons on the 451 engines build from 2007 to 2009 and another type of pistons on the 451 engines build from 2010 to 2015. Everybody is selling the pistons to fit the 2007-2009 engines, do you know a shop that has or that can order the pistons to fit the engines made from 2010 onward?

Isnt a 451 CDI engine not the same as an 450 CDI engine?

Can you tell me , why a oilsump from a 451 CDI engine ( from year 2010) will fitt (under/to) an 450 and an 452 engines??

Ostensibly the same but with detail differences is what I'd expect.
Different Euro emission compliance levels could mean internal differences (eg pistons). You'd need the two components in front of you to compare.
