P20B1 code - 2011 451 1.0L Turbo Coupe

Hey Guys, how are you doing?

Im from Brazil, and recently bought a 2011 Smart Passion Coupe 1.0L Turbo 62Kw.

Today, during Start-up there were a service light blinking on the dash, then I used an android scan tool and found P20B1(Reductant Heater Coolant Control Valve Circuit/Open) faulty code.


Coolant temperature is achieving 212 °F. I thought about Stucked Thermostat.. But not sure...

Does anyone knows how can i proceed with analysis?

Reading your post, you mention Heater coolant control valve. I think this has nothing to do with the coolant temperature & thermostat.
I think it refers to the cabin heater. I'd check to see if the cabin heater is working. Does it go hot & cold when you alter the control.
