  • How to get round the immobiliser problem

    Ive found away to get round immobiliser problems, when i go to start my rodie the black key appears in the dash, because its immobilised, now what i do is take out the key press the boot key, when i hear a bleep, the cars immobiliser is swiched off, and the car starts!!! top secret or just a guess, but it works, my rodie is alive......ye ha!!!!!

    It does explain that in the manual.

                  so how do i get the key to work again do i need to go to smart and have them recoded.....?

                    the key should still work, if it flashes 9 times in quick succession when opening the door it's unsynced, but if you get the key on the dash, you just click the door unlock button with the key in position 0 and it'll unlock the immobiliser. You get the key if you've stopped the car, and left the door open for more than 2 mins (AFAIK).
