I had this dilema when I fitted a new exhaust to my old Land Rover - it was £40 for the mild steel one or £160 for the stainless one. I decided that if I needed a new exhaust every three years, then it would take me twelve to justify the cost of the ss one.

I'd say the same is true here. For day to day use, the standard clutch has done me almost 40,000 hard miles with signs of going on for longer. Purchase plus changing of the BT one would cost over twice the cost of a standard clutch and fitting, so will I 1. get the benefit from it and 2. have the car long enough to benefit from it! The answer, I fear is 'No' on the first count and I'll take my chances on the second.

looks like the Bonalume clutch to me, anyone know if Berlin Tuning are just doing what SAD do over here

I have it

After 30,000 miles it still works fine - like it should, but there again my original smart standard one lasted 35,000 miles so who knows what may be awaiting around the corner

Theres atleast one more clutch in development at present... Going on thier track record, I'd say it was worth waiting for...

difficult to be impiricle, ideally you'd need measured data before and after, and as I had a few changes around the same time, remap Brabus TIK etc

so the court is out on that one but maybe smoother even racing snake was impressed with the gear changes in my car, when he went out in my car at the Watford rolling road day. But that is probably a combination of all the above providing a smooooth result.

Because this one is very cheap... in the producer site the clutch only cost 200€ + 400€!!!

I will like to do the remap but here none one do that, next sunday i will put admission in my brabus, and maybe next thing will be the clutch...

Its no secret that BIGperformance are developing one... hes mentioned it on here already... just like yourself, im waiting to see what happens price wise/power tolderance wise, knowing what his works like though - it'll be top notch stuff.
