  • Suzuki GSXR 1000-engined Smart Roadster

It's official, the Evil Twin Z-cars bike engined Roadster has been born.<img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>

Following on from the succuss of Pete Ballantines bike engined Smart City Coupe, it was inevitable that a similarly engined Roadster would follow. The beauty of the Roadster conversion is that the car remains looking virtually stock as there is enough room under the tail of the car to hide the exhaust.

The only give away will be a small power bulge on the boot lid, although the Roadster Coupe will hide everything in the same way that the Brabus Biturbo did.

First road trials were conducted today on the country lanes surrounding Z-cars headquarters and though for obvious reasons speeds were relatively low, the acceleration is nothing short of breath taking.

For those that wish to witness these first few moments on the road go to the following link where you be able to download three short AVI clips. www.smartsrus.com/evil_twin_z-cars.htm

The car will be available for test drives at SRUS for anybody with a serious enquiry and deposits are being taken for the first conversions which will be available from May onwards.

Happy viewing and don't forget to turn up the volume. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

The light was fading and we didn't realise the lights were out until we were halfway down the road.

Someone forgot to plug the lights in<img src=icon_smile_blush.gif border=0 align=middle>

This was quickly remedied and yes all the lights will be working on the test car.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

I would definately like one of these. How about trying the 1300 Hayabusa engine?
