Victims of their own success - they are great people but it's still a family business running an international web shop

I think that's where the problems might start...

Ah - though Kate had replied to that.... I was referring to those who were talking about orders placed in December

Well, if you're going to be away for a month it's probably a better idea to put a note on the site abd/or not take any orders for that period just in case someone posts on a forum implying poor service

Dear miss Daisy... I sure hope you're not implying that I'm implying about "poor service" from these guys...
I have only good things to say about them and had the best shopping experience with that business so far.
EDIT : see my reply #29 for that matter

Not at all, Roadster I was just pointing out that it's better to inform than risk criticism

It's not great for other people to see that the only way you can get a response is by posting on a public forum whether you meant it as a complaint or not

I have to say - I have a LOT of time for Kate, Paul and all the guys at Digi-tec. They have worked on my cars many times and I trust their work implicitly. They are a genuinely friendly bunch and really know their stuff.

Unfortunately their web store doesn't match the levels of customer satisfaction experienced at the workshop. It seems to be a recurring theme on this (and other) forum of people waiting ages for stuff ordered, and not being kept informed of order progress.

I am sure they do not do this intentionally - they are an honest bunch and have all the best intentions. They do the customer-experience bit in person (i.e. at the workshop) really well - I think they need to re-think the web-store - as others have said it can be a bit of a dissapointing service (I know this from experience also) and risks tainting the otherwise good reputation of an excellent company.

I'm getting PMs from some fella's over here, asking me if Digitec contact me or got back to me...
...Well, I'm sorry to let you down guys... the answer is no. I have no idea what happened there.
It's been two weeks (well, 12 days) from my last post here, and I thought it will be enough time.
Anyways, after updating you with this matter, I'm afraid I'll have to move on & find a replacement

                            p.s -
I'm not a P.I and my name is not captain gadget nor dick tracy, but hey -
Kate was on at the 22/JAN/2012... it would have been nice to figure out the reason for this thing. nm.
