    it can also mean the MAP sensor is reading the pressure wrong, but I'd still plump for the cycle valve in the first place

                Actually I am changing it myself during this weekend, together with the intercooler hoses.

                      I did not remove the rear panels last time I changed it.
                      Just remove the intercooler pipes and the retaining screws to the valve and the vacuum pipes (after noting where they are supposed to sit).
                      The trouble was to get the retaining screws in place again.

                            This number is from the plastic bag with the cycle valve.
