Talk to me Still not purchased....just want some info on hardtop options. I'm thinking that there was two factory options, carbon matt look and gloss.? Looks like some coupes came with them and the light model. What about after market custom fabbed ones? Does anyone out there do a permanent roof option? Db

Haven't ever seen a permanent roof option - but I recall from many moons ago, that Big Performance looked at doing a '1-piece' roof option... not sure if that ever got off the ground or not - maybe chuck hi a pm or call, see what happened!.
As for the 2 options - they weren't really options - the 'gloss' one was the early roof, the textured roof was the later one.
In retrospect, I suppose "supercalafragalisticexpialadocious" wasn't a great "safe word..." -
There are guys in France that do a 1 piece hard top.
What's the big thing about hard tops anyway? I've had 3 - matt & gloss... matt is better, but TBH they're not worth having anyway.Comment

I sprayed my gloss hard-top speed-silver, and (personally) think it looked the dogs kahoonas
