  • Heated Seats Not Working

hi, i've done steps from the link below, and instead of 12 volts i'm getting ~7v.
maybe someone of you had this issue and can point me to the right direction?

    regards

    Both don't work?
    Swapped the relays over?
    Checked the fuses?
Use the multimeter on continuity mode and touch each of the connections on the seat wiring. You should get a reading. If you get no reading then there is a break in the element or the connector from the seat base and seat back.
However, if they both don't work, it must be something further back, before the relays.

      both not working.
      swapped the relays.
checked the fuse (why fuses, it's only one - R9 a 25 amp, not?)

The 600cc has 3 fuses, the 700 has 1. You didn't say which you have.
Use the multimeter to check for a 12v line on pin 1 (blue), pin 6 (black/red) and pin 7 (red/black).
Some are constant, some are switched.
Put your multimeter on continuity and put 1 probe on the battery negative and touch the other probe to pin 2 (probably brown or black) to make sure the earth wires are ok.
Check the continuity of both of the seat connections to make sure there are no breaks in the element.
Then check the earth from the seat to the battery -.
