  • Heavy heart

Hi, I have been a ‘Smart Roadster’ enthusiast from day one and over the years have owned a number of Roadsters, which I have cared for and nurtured like a child, I love my roadsters and the quirkiness of them, and only being 4’11, me and my Roadster are a perfect fit!

It is with a very (and I mean very heavy heart) that I have to now consider selling my Roadster, which is an ‘Exclusive Finale Edition 2007’ (one of the last ever built, before production ceased in 2007)

The arrival of another ‘grandchild’ doesn’t make the roadster suitable for transporting my two Grandkids to shops and nursery etc, hence I am looking to reluctantly sell it to put down as a deposit on a new Smart ForFour (Black or White Edition) or possibly the brabus edition when released. (Although I have to say I have not been impressed with the reviews I have read on the ‘Prime editions so far!!) Either way a new ‘Grown Up’ car has to be my priority.

My hubby has kindly put together a ‘website’ to showcase my Roadster and I would love it to go to another enthusiast who will care for it and nurture it the way I have. I have no doubt that this will become a collector’s edition, (if it isn’t already) and represents an investment for any potential buyer. Sadly I have neither the space nor available cash to keep this and buy another, and would genuinely love it to go to somebody who will appreciate it and enjoy it as much as I have.

Please feel free to visit the website and contact me via the forum or the website if you are interested.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

He means the first GENeration smart forfour from 2005 ish, so a ten year old car lol

Just ignore the reviews of the new cars, they have no idea what they're talking about
I've got the prime fortwo and it's a great drive, best smart ever with a DCT gearbox

Production ceased in 2005 not 2007.
Yours sat in a field for anywhere between 2-4 years before it was sold.

No old Forfour or new smart 453 is going to be like a Roadster. If it can't be like a Roadster, you should go in a different direction.
Personally, I would never change my car just because someone else had kids.

I see it has already sold. I'm not surprised at that price. Someone got a decent deal.

is true, no 454 or 453 is going to be like a roadster but if they want to stay in the 'smart' circle then the forfour fits the bill for extra seats.
