  • Creating a shopping list of genuine Smart parts

I have a Roadster Coupé with low mileage, and will gather some original/genuine Smart/Mercedes parts which in the future may be difficult to obtain. I'm trying to list those parts that tend to get worn and/or break (exterior, interior, mechanically) on these cars, which should be on my shopping list to Mercedes/Smart.

So far, the following is on my list:
    • Textile floor mats
    • Back side windows
    • Driver's seat upholstery (if available separately)
    • Door upholstery
    • AC pipe
    • All adhesive decals
    • License plate lights
    • Armrest
    • Cup holder
    • Wheel centre badges
    • Side indicator glass
    • Rubber seals doors, roof bars
    • ??
    • ??

What are your experiences of parts breaking or getting bad, and that should be included on such shopping list?

SAM, all panels, roof, all seals, cycle valve, clutch, turbo, engine, intercooler, i/c air scoop, exhaust, windscreen, wiper motor, instrument cluster, heater selector switch, headlamps, indicator units, rear n/s cluster (cracks), central locking antenna, wheel bearings, ball joints, steering rack, wiring loom, ABS pump, brake lines, brake cylinders, CAT pre-heater air pump, clutch actuator ... list goes on & on & on...

A new car basically. Seems a bit of a pointless exercise to me unless you have very deep pockets and a large storage area.
