Smartz playing up?

Does anyone know why? Keep getting errors and impossible to read posts. Example:

Warning: Illegal string offset 'name' in [path]/includes/functions.php on line 6112

Unable to add cookies, header already sent.

I have noticed that if you log off and immediately log on, the problem disappear for that session. It's something to do with "cookies", apparently.

Thanks, tried that and it works. Still get a wee error line but can see the posts at least:

I get this issue on both my computers, both running Chrome, but with different web security. Only started night before last.

We're doing a software update at the moment, we're aware of the problem and working on it. I can't see any threads at all so it's best just not to post ATM!

Is there not a group email system you could use to let members know there is an issue?

There's no point flagging the issue when none of the mods can see it! I'm not sure how people are still posting tbh, but I don't do the technical stuff. Please just bear with, it'll be sorted when it can be.

Stacey, VB4.0.2 doesnt work with PHP 5.4 (the latest php version).
So im assuming the host on Smartz upgraded to PHP 5.4 and didnt warn you about it??
You need to move back to php 5.3 or upgrade to vb4.2.2
