We've recieved a letter from Smart this morning . . . it says,
'Smart continuously monitors vehicle performance and quality, both during the production process and in everyday operation. As a result of our performance monitoring, we have determined that on this type of vehicle, it may be possible to assume that the air intake for the engine on the left-hand rear of the vehicle is in fact the fuel tank inlet.'
'Accompanying this letter is a sticker that needs to be attached to the left door window, which should help alleviate the risk of any user inadvertently putting fuel in the incorrect aperture. Fitting instructions are supplied.'
Fitting instructions for a sticker !!!!! Using the air intake for fuel !!!!! Has anyone ever made that mistake???
