Looks ok, the round lights in the front bumper are a bit ugly though. Of all the things to carry over from the present Twingo, they picked those!

Yep, same length as the 451 but 10cm wider.

It's gonna be something like 4 inches wider - it'll need to be to accommodate a clutch pedal in the drivers footwell. Length is going to be about the same as the 451.

I hope it doesn't get too fat, this is what as turned me off the SLK, the R170 of which I owned one, was a fantastic car! The R171 is a nice car but grew larger. The R172 current SLK is just a shrunken version of the R231 SL, I am turned off by it!

The W453? would probably evolve from W451, but if it gets bigger it would be a waste! The 2500mm is great, the 2700mm is getting too big. I love the A451 and will probably get one in the near future. 2500mm is just perfect as it is exactly 1/2 a car. I am in Australia and my brother has a Holden Ute, this is 5100mm, easy to drive and a big tub of 1800mm in the back and is very useful. Useless at parking! Smart is useless at carrying anything but can squeeze into parking spots and when the top is down it is primeval.

I'm yet to drive the A451 but I will soon and I hope this primeval feeling survives.

I don't think anyone is saying that they are photos of the finished car.
I think it'll be monumentally more ugly.

In the pic in post#41, the wheel sizes are out of proportion to each other (even allowing for the front being nearer the viewer) - fake.

In the pic in post#44 it has 3-bolt wheel fixings and we all know the new model will have their wheels retained by 4 bolts each - fake.

Also, the 'look' is so derivative as to suggest a mock up based on the 451. Surely the real thing will be a little more adventurous.

Now that lighting technology has moved on, should we not be getting sleeker lights? Those on the pics look like implements that belong in an industrial kitchen.

It looks like a mirrored and modified version of this. And it does not resemble the one seen on the testing video a few pages back.

This picture is doing the rounds on the net but it has no known provenance I can find. I'd be surprised if the wheels were actually that big and the door handle seems odd, photoshop perhaps?
