Shelsey is *the* place. Absolutely beautiful area, a proper test of torque and nerve! I should think it'd make a perfect midlands smart meet actually.. would be good to be there in support.

Hi, We have only entered for Shelsley Walsh May 3rd/4th (bank holiday Sunday/Monday) at the moment to see how it goes. Practice on the Sunday and race on the Monday. Depending on the outcome there could be loads more to come. We would love to see as many Smarties as poss and for those that have never been to a hillclimb before Shelsley 'is the place' (ask BCA).

    Cheers P&J

I wish you all the success with your pocket rocket up them there hills. It's got me thinking again about another project car and improve on my previous mistakes.

    All the best.

For info and if anyone is in the Midlands and wants to see it, we will be at

Merry Hill Shopping Centre; Brierley Hill; West Midlands England DY5 1QX

Saturday 21st February 10.00am to 4pm, along with the Fire Service, Police and Ambulance promoting safe motorsport. Hagley and District Light Car Club will have a stand and there will be other competition cars on display +free parking and shopping for the girls.

Sorry it clashes with the ACE Cafe visit but if you are in the area we would love to see you.

    Pam and Jim

This is a car that weighed 560kilos with its smart engine... even allowing a little extra weight for the 3GSE, its going to be pretty nippy.

Theres some really interesting cars being developed for this season, in the same class I believe there is a Duratec Fiesta mk1 with roller body throttles, quaife sequential box... I hope the Smart is going to really suprise everyone on a fraction of the aformentioned cars budget.
