  • Website not responding

Nearly every time I try to reply to a post I find the browser freezes & I get a website not responding message & the browser closes.
I've tried IE9, Avant & Chrome browsers & they all have the same issue, IE9 being the worst culprit.
I also get the same issue when I log in on my works computer.
I noticed on a post earlier, that Racing Snake is having the same problem.
This is a pain as it puts me off posting, as normally it takes three attempts to post a reply.
Hope there is a cure for this.

Try Firefox, seems to be OK for me

            Re: Website not responding

            My ISP is Madasafish.
I also get this problem at work, different computer & ISP.
They're both running Windows 7, I never had this problem with XP?
The home problem started when I bought a new laptop running 7 & they've just updated my PC at work & that's now running 7.
            Don't know if there's a link there.
Thanks for your help as this is getting frustrating now.

Happens on several machines, but all running windows / explorer . This PC is Windows 7 , Explorer 9.

I had issues replying the other day on this thread:

                        Re: Website not responding

                        Who is ur ISP mate?

The uptime link I've got check it separately to my servers and the link is
                        http://www.siteuptime.com/prem_stati...&UserId=126104
It will tell me as soon as there is any issue and I've not got anything flagged up.
The link there was reset to I can get accurate info direct on the smartmaniacs site.

The main server had a blip on the 30th for 1 5min period when I updated a bit of software, but nothing on the 31st.
It does seem a bit odd

                            Re: Website not responding

I've never had a problem, on cable, using win7 and opera. Wouldn't ever use FF or IE on win7 as they are awful and slow.

Are they WiFi connections where the problem happens?
