Microsoft pay me nothing (but they should! lol) - I've done the ipad/iphone/android thing before. So I stick with what works best for me. It's like cars - the people that criticize them have rarely driven or had any experience of them.

lol No I think its because I like to get down to the nitty gritty of the operating systems and do things most other people wouldnt even dream of or even know about. For most the simplicity of the OS suits them but for me I hate this lets hide everything from view and have to go through 900 menus to get to something you need to change is annoying beyond belief. I dont like iOS unless Ive jailbroken it. lol

The concept was to make it more like phones and tablets and bring MS up to modern day expectations, however I dont want to pay for something I already have in windows 7 (start button) Ive used windows 8 quite a lot and it does my head in. The concept works on small devices but even then windows smart phone Os is also clunky and annoying when compared with iOS and android.
I dont have touch screen and nor do I want it on my main PC! what on earth were the morons at Microshite thinking. Im running 2 x Samsung 24" screens @ 1990 x 1080 lol third screen is a Samsung 22" TV/monitor which I only switch over from TV to PC when Ive got CAD stuff to do or programming. Ive been building my own computers for 25yrs now, so even my laptop got changed to windows 7 and linux lol it did have hackintosh on it til I got bored and had a problem with WIS/EPC.
however I have to pop out to get some face masks for some work I have to do this afternoon. So Ill be back in 30 mins or so
