    Re: Got this Pioneer headunit.

JDM-Trade have been known to sell a lot of eastern counterfeit audio equipment, most definitely the speakers they sell are, but there are also some dodgy headunits floating around. Obviously not sure if yours is an example, i certainly hope not, but I felt I should point it out

    Personally, I'd avoid them.

EDIT: That particular model is from the Asian/Russian Market Model.

For a genuine UK Model, this is the probably the nearest you can get

If it's for a different market, the frequency range wont be compatible over here? like on the JAP imports that need extra equipment for them to work properly, right?

        Re: Got this Pioneer headunit.

it does say it's UK compatible... maybe the new pioneers can allow you to changet he frequency range or tuning steps?

In retrospect, I suppose "supercalafragalisticexpialadocious" wasn't a great "safe word..."

DEH-2050MPG with Silver Remote was also available in New Zealand, Russian market get a black remote i think, so as long as NZ use similar frequency steps then it should be fine. But I'd still be a bit dubious over its authenticity
