Drilling should be ok as long as you use grommets and protect the hole and wires properly
Oh this seems like a hard work ?! Is this what others have done ?

And it's 1.5mm I thick speaker cable thick it would just be easy to drill a hole through the wing then grommet it and join it with the other door wiring ??

OK this might be a stupid question but what's the best "order" to wirer everything together can I just wirer all the leads into amp and head unit then connect power to battery then ground or no ??

Wire everything up with the battery disconnected. Connect negative side of the battery and make sure all connections are tight.
Then connect the positive in one fluid motion ignoring the SPARK which is bound to happen and can frighten people into trying to connect the lead multiple times - This can cause the ECU to have a FIT!

Ok so thinking about crimping some bullet connectors and the spade connectors but just been told I should solder the connections instead what's people views on this ? And what has most of use done ??

I use connectors that way when I change speakers or cables it's simple, I have never had any issues.

You get a much better contact from wire to connector with solder than the usual gash bullet connector via crimping as they generally are a rough squashing of the body onto the wires (unlike a well designed crimped terminal and associated tool) and often the wire can pull out of the contact when someone doesn't crimp them properly (ie tired girly hands etc ) also the cables can corrode easily in the bullet if your car is damp degrading the connection over time, not really an issue with soldered connections.

But there again someone maybe gash at soldering too? and bullets are generally designed to be crimped not soldered

Much better than twisted together and covered in tape though!

I solder everything I do on the car, even the spade connectors this came from having many minis and water and corrosion was a problem

Ok thanks for the info guys I might aswell solder then as I do have a soldering kit ;-) so that will be ok to solder it then some electrical tape round it to finish it off !

Use heat shrink tubing if you are going to solder. Electrical insulating tape will eventually unwind and leave a horrible sticky mess!

Cool cheers well going to be doing it after work today so hopefully when thats all done all it will be is the door speakers

That's going to be, drill the hole through the wing metal wall grommet it wire through thread it to the door speaker and that's if it's a straight fit !

Also I have a slight fuzz in the back ground ?

And the other thing was what do it do with the wiring from the original speakers just leave them in there ?

The fuzz is the noise from a bad earth normally

You may have one of the speakers wired the wrong way and thus the 2 cancel each other out.
