Just to clear up, on your V5 the colour will either be black or silver (or grey for some forfours) If you swap the panels you dont have to tell the DVLA. If you have your tridion resprayed, only then should you tell the DVLA.

ANd if you and trashie do a swap, you'd be welcome to come down and stay with us to break up the journey!!
