Smart: main car or 2nd car?

bought my roadster coupe as a second car to my fiat coupe 20vt. now I'm used to the smart I never use the Fiat, which is now up for sale.

My Pulse is my work car. I work as a housing officer for the council, and it's perfect for the job - lots of little runs and just a few miles to & from the office - and still returns about 50 to the gallon - it gets filled up once a fortnight or thereabouts! We have a Merc C200 that the guv'nor drives daily, and that we use to pull the caravan with when we go away. The Smartie just couldn't quite do that for us!!

Roadster - main car. 100 miles per day. Look forward to commuting. Now drive family saloon ('C' class) like a hearse at weekends - it just feels so sedate - wife very pleased!

Sold a Nissan 300ZXmg: and a Clio 1.2 to buy my Roadie Coupe. Best car I've ever had, despite the glitches! It's currently in Smart of Belfast trying to debug an ABS warning light...

My roadster will be my only car when i arrives and I'll be doing 30k a year in it! I would never have imagined that my lass' seicento would be the car we use for bulky items though!!

Mine's my second car, my other is a show car so wanted to keep it nice for shows and hot days...:biggrin: Love my smart though, loads of fun, and a pleasure to use as my runaround.

It's our main car as we live in a city so it's really easy to drive and park.

We also have a Mazda Bongo (Ford Friendee) imported campervan for weekends away.

It's my only car! Luckily I can use my parents car if I need to taxi people on work nights out. I'll use my car if I'm feeling mean though!
