Hughes of Beaconsfield were very prompt in carrying out repairs to my smart. The parts needed were ordered and arrived when expected. During fitting it was discovered further parts were required and they arrived the next day - amazing !
They even cleaned it afterwards. The best bit was it was all free (insurance claim).
Lovely dealership too - bit like a BA airport lounge - free drinks, big TV, comfy chairs - could have sat there all day.

Have just been quoted £297 for a C service from Smart in Croydon. Does this make up for the cheap tax, cheap insurance and low fuel costs? Shall be putting kidney on ebay this evening!

I have to say that smarts of Beaconsfield have been absolutely diabolical, they haven't got any idea about customer service, had problems getting my roadster and have had ever since taking it back there to try and rectify problems with it. Have since given up full stop and learning to live with the cars faults. Vowed never to return there, on the upside Robinsons in Norwich were very good with my first service despite not cleaning my car!!

Dartford used to be rubbish before John and Nick started there. They were both very helpful and kept me informed on what was going on, I really only bought a smart from there because I felt like I could trust them, they were rebelling against the poor Merc management.
The day I picked my car up Nick told them to stick their job which is a shame and the last time I went in to ask about parts John wasn't there and the girl (sorry can't remember the name) was doing a test drive. I stood there for quite a while with people just swanning past me as they used to do.

Be very careful if you go to Sheffield Smart, if they smell a sale they will tell you anything! Out of the 3 cars we were considering none were what they said they were – A factory Brabus with 80+ bhp, turned out to be a standard passion with some badges and Brabus wheels. A Pure which had a Digitec remap and was a ‘cracking little car’ turned into ‘something you have to be very weary of’ when we discounted it! And finally a bog standard Passion which had a ‘full service history’ and would not need a test drive it was so clean, had no paper work of any kind and rattled like a cooking popcorn! I have not mentioned the price on any of these, cos we were considering buying them, I would have been embarrassed if I had now got one of them and had paid anywhere near what they were asking.

Since then (end of last year) I have rung for prices on different things, never to receive a return call.

I know this might be a bit cheesy but have any of you that have had good service written letters of congratulation to these dealers? It might just galvanise some into promoting good practice rather than letters of complaint(as they must get a few negative ones as opposed to very positive ones).Nothing to loose.

Wednesday was Leo's first service. Asked my mate for a Brabus Coupe' Cab loan car and got one !! Took it for the day and it was very very enjoyable. A totally different driving experience from my Pulse. Enjoyed every minute of it. Came back shiny and hoovered with no problems at all. Shame the valet didnt make a better job of the alloy wheels ! I will be emailing them to say thank you.

I have just got back from having Pootle serviced at Newbury. I was very pleased with their service, and they washed and hoovered her. Thumbs up to Newbury, thanks chaps.

I am getting my first A service with the new flagship dealership just opened in Newcastle next week and was quoted £127 for my service but i am expecting hidden charges and they looked at me up and down as if i was sh*t when i walked in to book it in and have waited a month as they only have one smart mechanic at the dealership. Will keep you posted on the outcome.
