Heh heh heh, I can just imagine the dog driving! It's funny what someone said about the LHD seat being too low because for me it's perfect, as I'm 6'3". However, I'm currently borrowing a RHD courtesy car from Smart Manchester and the driver's seat seems much higher up and there's not as much room. The reason I got the LHD though was price originally but having driven both I suppose I'd prefer LHD as theres more room.

LHD every time. RHD, the seat is too high, and being 5 foot 15 that is a bit of a nuisance. Apart from that, dunno. Oh, and I hate having to lean across to chat to hookers.

and the paddle shift means I don't have to change gear with my left hand - lol.
I still try and put the ignition key in the door though :eek

I drive my partners 206 which is RHD, but must admit I do prefer my LHD smart!

If we stop at drive thrus etc I get him to do all the work then!

Having driven 19 years in Canada, I was not looking forward to driving on the "wrong" side of the road and I couldn't get used to having a gear shift on my left side! Along comes a LHD Smart and I actually drove it!! Now I wouldn't have any other car! Steering wheel where I'm used to having it! Gear stick on my right where it should be! Heaven!!!

LHD for me - i don't fit in RHD - the seat's too high - also i reckon the RHD must be compromised - think about it a smart is only 2.5m long & was designed only for LHD so something must have been 'lost' in the conversion to RHD
