Light fixings/fixtures

Hi Folks,

I had a run in with a rather large pigeon on Saturday and to get his revenge the glass on the light cracked and the the plastic indicator on the left side also appears to have come loose (you can now push it in)

Is this something I could fix myself? if so how?

ANY advice would be fantastic.

I never fixed the old one...sold the car before I did it and the garage didn't notice the cracked glass...

But...how do I repair the plastic one?

Jules, are you talking about the side repeater? I assume your car is a Roadster?

Hi SmartSparky,

Yeah the L side reapter. the actual casing isn't broken (cracked) it's just it now pushes in when touched (i'm guessing a bracket or something broke).
I just really would like to know how to replace the bracket or whatever has broken with the impact.

It sounds like the clip has broken on the back of the fitting. Although this shows a fortwo, the fitting is the same.
