alas it doesn't work now, you have to have a card which they swipe and then give you trade prices, just got a price for a battery for jills skoda £99, which is daylight robbery but with a trade card £64 which isn't bad as it's a calcium battery (what ever the ****** that is!) with a 4 year warranty.......will be stopping on the wa to london today and getting one and fitting it myself in the car park........but even though i've got a trade card they always offer to fit stuff!!

We got a new battery for jills car today, then they saw my work!!! in the car park of halfords, 10 mins for a battery change on a fabia, not bad considering you have to remove half the friggin engine bay to get it out!! and put it all back again too! and i left them the old one for a reminder!

              Re: New battery

If you have a Euro Car Parts near you they have 065 batteries for £38.95. Might be plus vat though but still a lot cheaper than Halfwits.

Oops just noticed the date, you probably have sorted this a long time ago.
